Adding Video

YouTube, Vimeo, and other video services

While editing a Post/Page, simply paste in the address (URL) for the video (just like if you were sending it to a friend).  Do not use the embed code provided by the video service and do not make the URL a link or format it in any way (such as making it bold).

Just insert the URL to the video in the body of your post/page, e.g., http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCHk74nGHqQ

WordPress will take care of the rest, automatically embedding the video for you:

 

For videos hosted on our servers

While editing a post/page:

  1. movie-IconClick on the Movie icon in your toolbar — this will place the short code for video in your content’s body (the shortcode will be inserted wherever you placed your cursor)
  2. Place the address (URL) to the video in between the two pieces of video code on your page.

For example: [video]http://media.news.health.ufl.edu/video/041611FinalGrad.m4v[/video]
