Welcome to our new social media intern, Kaicha Noel!

kaicha-photo

Hi, I'm Kaicha -- a third-year student studying Advertising. For someone who works in communications, I often struggle with what to include in a self-intro and can ramble for ages, but here goes!

I'm originally from Haiti but have lived in Palm Beach for the past 13 years. I'm a HUGE music lover and can talk to a wall about my latest finds. Seriously, please ask me what I'm currently listening to! My favorite artist is Adele, and I wholeheartedly believe that her album, 21, is the best album that has ever been made. In my free time, I am usually at some church-related event or spending an unhealthy amount of time with my friends. In my alone time, I read books, write, or watch TV (I love OMITB, Friends, and, yes, I am an avid bachelor series viewer...). I enjoy rom-coms more than any other film genre, and my favorite movie is The Holiday! Sensing a theme?

As for social media, I don't have a big story on why I chose it. When you boil it down, I was simply a nursing student who was very passionate about storytelling and not-so-passionate about nursing. Whether it's through writing or visuals, I've always enjoyed stumbling upon different stories and am now continually seeking ways to be the one sharing stories I care about. I love strategizing and hope to continue doing that in some capacity while growing and learning in order to be an effective comms professional. During my time at UF Health, I hope to write, form meaningful work relationships, not be afraid to ask questions, and do one thing that challenges or scares me biweekly -- even if I fail.

I am looking forward to working with Web Services!

MailPoet to be removed by the end of 2023

mailpoet

The MailPoet email newsletter platform stopped receiving support in January 2022. Its continued presence poses a security risk for our website network because the original development team no longer maintains it.

Nearly two years ago, when Mailster was introduced, we offered guidance on switching from MailPoet to Mailster. This guidance included steps to preserve your previous newsletters and statistics. To learn more about making this transition by the end of 2023, click the button below.

These training sessions are useful resources that delve into particular subjects related to the University of Florida's brand. They include previously recorded presentations by the university's Strategic Communications and Marketing team. Their purpose is to enhance your existing knowledge and experience rather than provide specific instructions for your website. We trust that they will assist you in shaping your website's content and messaging.
