UF URL Shortening service is back!
UF’s URL shortener is available for faculty and staff to support UF’s digital environment. https://go.ufl.edu is designed to provide a safe link shortener alternative, reducing the risk of spoofed websites and other harmful links entering the UF Network. It can only be used with webpages ending in “ufl.edu” and “ufhealth.org,” or authenticated via UF’s Zoom, Qualtrics, SharePoint, Gator360, and ExLibris environments.

Moving to Mailster
MailPoet is no longer supported by its original development team and continuing to use it may result in some unwanted errors such as a large number of unsubscribes in your statistics, or loss of editing functionalities. Mailster is available to use and is the supported replacement for MailPoet. Before you move to Mailster, you will need to save some of the information for your newsletters and subscribers so that you can transition easily.
Below are a few steps to help you keep a record of your past newsletters, content, and statistics.
- Export subscribers from MailPoet
- Note and record previous newsletter statistics and content

How to use blogging on your site
 | | |
Blogging is something you can incorporate into your site with little effort. The main idea behind blogging is that you are posting shorter snippets of information, such as updates, on a timely basis. Some effective uses for blogging are news articles, announcements, or faculty spotlights. To start blogging on the site, you will need to create a Post for each item you would like to blog about. Once the posts are published, they can easily be integrated into the homepage of your site with the Recent Posts block.
Blogging is what WordPress was originally developed for and it does it well. It's also an easy way to improve your search engine rankings because you can use your blog posts to answer questions, promote projects, and research.
