A new UFHealth.org means new features for you!
|
|
With the official launch of the new ufhealth.org website, we are excited to announce some upcoming integrations that will enhance your own website with relevant information. The first feature, the Clinical Trials block, is now available! This block allows you to incorporate clinical trials from ufhealth.org onto your site. It will automatically update as new trials are added and as old trials conclude. But that's not all! We have more exciting features on the way. The upcoming Provider and Location blocks will enable you to retrieve information about doctors and practice locations from ufhealth.org and seamlessly add them to your Apollo 2 website. This carefully curated information will be readily accessible, making it easier to enhance your patient care resources.

Streamline Your Publications: New Update Allows Adding Alternative Name to UF Health Directory
A new update is now available for the publications section of the UF Health Directory. With this update, we can include an alternate name under which you publish, making it easier for the directory to locate your publications associated with that name. For instance, if your display name in the Directory is "Mike Smith", but you publish under the name "Michael E Smith", we can now add this alternative name to your profile for the Publications section. Please reach out to webservices at webservices@ahc.ufl.edu if you'd like to explore this option to better help manage your publications listing.

Universal Analytics access ends on December 1, 2023
Beginning December 1, 2023, Google will no longer provide access to Universal Analytics (UA) for your website. This deadline applies to all users and analytics accounts on Google's platform. In the coming weeks, we will provide instructions on how to retain your previous data.
This will not effect your Google Analytics 4 access, only Universal Analytics.

ChatGPT: Guidelines for Campus Usage
Responses provided by the ChatGPT application can save time, but beware: the data you input or ask the app to develop may be retained and provided as responses to other users. ChatGPT users have very limited control over its use of the data provided to the app, and its parent company–OpenAI–does not currently offer a process to amend or delete entries submitted. UF’s Privacy Office and the UF Information Security Office want everyone in the Gator community to understand that putting data into ChatGPT or a similar service is equivalent to disclosing the data to the public.

The Way Back Machine, an archive of the internet
The "Way Back Machine" is a useful tool for retrieving old page information from your website. It serves as a digital library of internet content, allowing you to access archived versions of webpages dating back up to 20 years for certain sites. By simply entering a page's URL into the tool, you can explore past iterations of that specific page from the available scans in the archives. In addition to this feature, the site offers other tools like "Save Page Now," which allows you to preserve a particular page version for future reference. Give the Way Back Machine a try by entering your website's URL and discover what you can find!
