Belen is a passionate and experienced social media manger with an extensive background in marketing. She has a knack for creating engaging content and building strong relationships.
Belen has managed the Everglades and Dry Tortugas social media platforms and also managed website content migration for both parks during their redesign. She also worked for the National Park Service’s Water Resource Division in Colorado. There she built micro sites and helped manage social media strategy that related to ocean and coastal parks. Belen later worked at Colorado State University as a communications manager for the Department of Human Development and Family Studies.Most recently, she was the Assistant Director of Marketing and Strategic Communications for the University of Florida Division of Student Life. There she worked to tell the story of the Career Connections Center.
This isn’t Belen’s first role at UF Health. Upon graduation, she worked as a photojournalist on the Creative Services Team.
In her free time Belen loves to practice the flow arts. You can find her learning new tricks with her hula hoop, poi, and dragon staff.
