Social Media Coordinator Join the UF Health Web Services Team

The social media coordinator shares the stories of our doctors, their patients, and our researchers and staff, showcasing our clinical care and research discoveries. We’re looking for a person with at least 4 years experience in managing robust online communities. The position is full-time and based in Gainesville, Florida.

What You’ll DO

UF Health

Manage our main social media accounts

Working with our communications teams, you’ll create and manage the editorial calendar for UF Health’s primary social media accounts and blog, engaging patients, students, and the community.

Campaign Development

You’ll create campaigns to meet UF Health’s strategic communications goals, educate the public and improve health literacy, and promote our campus’ education and research missions.

INNOVATE OUR VOICE

Join in the National Conversation

You’ll identify trending stories and topics on social media and pitch ideas on ways that UF Health communications can join in on the conversation that will help patients and their families.

Social Listening

You’ll monitor, measure and report on our social media effort, community conversations, and potential issues related to our patient care missions. and inform senior leadership through reports, case studies, and presentations.

Governance and Best Training

You’ll assist in drafting best practices and social media policies for the academic health center, and will review proposals for new social media accounts in partnership with our communications specialists.

As the primary social media communicator in the organization, you’ll provide a key role in guiding social efforts throughout our organization trainings and informal discussions with other account managers.

You’ll serve as a sounding board for social media managers to provide advice and suggestions on how to improve their social media presences.
