Many of the documents on our websites do not meet new ADA accessibility standards (PDFs, DOCs, PPTs, etc.).
To help assist in auditing the documents on your site, Web Services has updated our Stale Content Audit Report tool. Our new report will identify documents in your Media Library, and if they are linked on any page or post on your website. This will make it easier for you to identify which documents you need to review for compliance. The new tool will also let you ‘attest’ to a document being ADA compatible (you will need to verify this first, before you attest to it), helping you keep track of which documents you need to remediate or remove.
To use the Stale Content Audit Report tool, navigate to your website’s Dashboard and click on “Stale Content Audit Report” at the bottom of the Dashboard menu. Select the Document Report option to see the list of files on your site to address.
